About Go Gyno

Information, Guidance, and Support in one spot.

To achieve good health, Lucy wants to understand how her body works  and functions. She goes to her medical appointments, but doesn’t feel satisfied with the time spent or the answers given. She buys books, goes to social media and the internet, but feels overwhelmed and confused.

The pursuit of good health leads most women to seek an understanding of how their bodies work and function. Although medical providers excel at diagnosing and treating conditions, they are often unable to provide sufficient support and education to patients due to limited time and resources.

Like Lucy, we all seek help from the internet. Today, misinformation online far exceeds information you can trust, and when it comes to your health, inaccurate or misleading information can have serious consequences.

Go Gyno fills this gap and offers one safe space to learn and get support. And we this the old way. Women, for thousands of years, have supported one another with their health journeys – The Red Tent, The Menstrual Hut, The Village Midwife, whatever the name, but the function remains the same.

  • Help support one another.
  • Rely on each other’s experiences.
  • Educate one another.

Secondly, the Go Gyno Community can complement traditional medical care. While your doctor will always be your primary source of medical advice and treatment, our online community can provide you with additional resources and support that can help you make informed decisions about your health.

Lastly, your doctor may have suggested the Go Gyno Community as part of a broader care plan that includes a range of resources and support services. Meet Dr. Reetu Syal

Growing up as an immigrant nerdy brown girl, I always knew that becoming a doctor in this country was an honor and a privilege. However, my conservative household never talked about female issues, dating, sex, periods, or anything related to reproductive development. I had to rely on TV, health class at school, and Judy Blume’s book, “Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret” to learn about these topics.

But my passion for learning, teaching, and talking led me to become a doctor. And as I’ve watched the misinformation surrounding women’s health spread on every platform, I’ve realized that there’s a need for reliable information and support.

After 19 years of practicing medicine, I know that the female body is an amazing and complex thing, regardless of its shape, size, or color. We often focus on how it looks rather than all the incredible things it can do.

That’s why my focus is on teaching and supporting every woman who wants to learn more about her body and become an active participant in her own healthcare. And with my guidance and expertise, you can rest assured that you’ll have access to trustworthy and validated information.
